We recruit students gifted in math and science by providing an education tailor-made for their abilities and talents. Additionally, we are able to encourage them to become creative scientific leaders.
GSA was founded in 1984 and has produced outstanding scientific leaders, including Korea’s first astronaut, researchers, lecturers, and CEOs, who have made significant contributions to our society.
We run R&E programs, self-initiated research activities, intensive math and science courses, individual projects, nature research programs and small group projects. These activities will strengthen students’ creativity and research potential.
Since being reborn as GSA in 2014, we have secured an excellent teaching staff and implemented a curriculum exclusively designed for the gifted. Under an agreement with outstanding universities and research institutes at home and abroad, we are encouraging research exchange and fellow research activities.
I believe our systematic science education programs, namely our open and self-designed curriculum will develop students’ humanistic as well as their scientific literacy so they are able to transform into world class leaders.
